Description
Two large telamons flank the entrance of this mansion, constructed in the mid-18C for the Marchese Bianchi, who enriched it with a spectacular staircase and frescoes by Giuseppe Bazzani.
After passing to the diocese in 1823, it now houses the bishop’s residence, the offices of his curia and the historic archives of the diocese, an essential source of records on the history of the city and surrounding area.
